PIR lights can deter intruders FACT!! The next door neighbours cat may set it off a few times but it still turns heads and can light up when someone you are not expecting turns up at your door.

Save energy
Smart exterior lighting can be programmed to come on at certain times and go off at night, you can have a PIR that will come on when it gets dark enough and turn off after a minute or so. Both of these options can save energy by only being on and using enery when you need them.
